Häxan – William S. Burroughs – CASSETTE

Through satanic possessions and rituals, the extravagant Häxan, a film directed by Benjamin Christensen in 1922, draws the parallel between the witch hunts of the Middle Ages and the persecution of women at the turn of the 20th century, via psychiatric hysteria.
In 1966 Burroughs narrated the movie in his usual style.
